Bratři + chalapeño

A double evening of electronic music with live instruments at Dock Ostrava.

Bratři is a duo of Jiří (live drums) and Ondřej (analogue and modular synthesizers). On stage they build a strong symbiosis of both approaches - the result is organic and emotional, moving between techno and ambient.

Vasilios Chaleplis, known as chalapeño, is an Ostrava-based writer, dramaturg and producer. His music combines electronic beats with live instruments - most often synthesizers and guitar - and spans genres between techno, house, lo-fi, downtempo, breakbeat, IDM and indie electronic. A characteristic element of his work is "Ostrava samples": sounds recorded at various locations and situations throughout the city.
