About

chalapeño is the alias of Vasilios Chaleplis, a producer, dramaturg and writer from Ostrava. His electronic music blends beats with live instruments - synths and guitar - spanning techno, house, lo-fi, downtempo and IDM. A distinctive touch is his use of "Ostrava samples": field recordings captured at various spots around the city.
