
DHOGH Festival
A 16-hour electronic music marathon at Žižkárna featuring Bratři, HRTL, and Chryzotil 271 in a club series known for innovative sound and visual design.
Bratři are a Prague-based electronic duo formed in 2016 by twin brothers Jiří and Ondřej Veselý (born 16 June 1987). Live, Jiří plays acoustic drums while Ondřej handles analogue and modular synthesizers, placing their sound somewhere between dance electronics, techno and ambient. Their second album Escape (2024), produced with Berlin's Hannes Bieger, earned a nomination for the Czech Music Critics' Award Apollo in the Album of the Year category. They have performed at Sziget, Colours of Ostrava, Europavox and Eurosonic Noorderslag, and were nominated for the Music Moves Europe Talent Awards in 2021.
The brothers announced a jubilee show for the 10th anniversary of the duo's formation - a one-time concert will take place on November 11, 2026 at Prague's Roxy.
The brothers released the single Unfold in collaboration with Polish sibling duo Sarapata and held a special concert Brothers in Music.
The album Escape was nominated for the Czech Music Critics' Award Apollo 2024 in the Album of the Year category; the brothers also performed live at a gala evening at Lucerna Music Bar.
The brothers christened their second album Escape with a concert at Prague's Akropolis Palace (November 7, 2024).
The second album Escape was released (September 20, 2024), produced by Berlin-based producer Hannes Bieger; the vinyl version contains 8 tracks, the digital version has two more.
