After nine years away, Hentai Corporation returns with their new album Shirime. The band has weathered personal upheaval and battles with addiction to bring this record to life, and they're ready to hit the airwaves and tour the clubs. The album has radio-friendly potential aimed at stations like Braník and Evropa 2, and it's designed to shake you to your core.

What exactly is Shirime? It's a bizarre supernatural creature from Japanese folklore whose name translates as "ass eye". According to legend, a samurai encounters a strange man at night who, when asked to identify himself, turns around, drops his kimono, and reveals a large glowing eye in the area of his rectum instead of a face. The samurai flees in horror. Shirime is not an evil demon - rather an absurd and grotesque phantom whose purpose is to frighten, surprise, and completely unsettle people.

Frontman Radek Škarohlíd adds the band's shirime-inspired litany: "Strange creatures crawl from the brown bloodstream into the blossoming tissues of love and the Freedom of Karel. Shirime! Grotesquerie slowly turns to hatred. Shirime! High time to awaken your neural networks. Shirime, I call you! Shirime, I see you! Shirime, lead us, awaken humanity, dispel the fog of indifference! Entertain us, surprise us!"

Guest band mmnk bends guitar music over their knee with a punk approach, cynicism, and dark humor. Their sound oscillates between progressive pop punk, raw riffs, and "weird music" for fans of the unconventional - hence their New Weird Czechia moniker. After their debut Uměnení 2: Ohnivá pomsta, they released the conceptual album Legenda Ybokaj aneb jakoby naopak (Official Original Soundtrack) in January 2025, and they're currently expanding their multiverse with new singles.
