Waltari are a Finnish experimental metal band from Helsinki, active since 1986, led by vocalist and bassist Kärtsy Hatakka, who writes most of the music. Their sound blends metal subgenres with hip hop, electronics, punk and classical music, making them pioneers of crossover metal in Finland. The band has served as a launching pad for several notable musicians, including Sami Yli-Sirniö (Kreator) and Janne Parviainen (Ensiferum), and their albums have repeatedly charted in the Finnish top 10.
Waltari released a new studio album Nations' Neurosis, which expands their discography to more than fifteen studio albums.
The band launched the '30 Years of Big Bang' tour with concerts in Finland (Joensuu, Oulu, Helsinki) and across Europe.

In October 2024, the collection So Fine Sessions - Rarities and Demos was released, featuring 22 previously unreleased demo recordings from the era of the album So Fine! (1994).
Waltari performed for the first time at the metal cruise festival 70000 Tons of Metal, where they played two sets on the ship Freedom of the Seas.
