About the venue: Club Lucerna

Club Lucerna occupies a 1927 building originally added to an inn at the corner of Nádražní and Skuherského streets. The Art Nouveau inscription ETABLISSEMENT DE DANSE is still visible on the facade. After 1989 it became one of the best-known discotheques in České Budějovice, and today it operates as a music club hosting live concerts and club nights.

Dog Eat Dog, formed in 1990 in Bergen County, New Jersey, pioneered the fusion of hardcore punk with rap and funk elements. This groundbreaking approach significantly shaped the rock landscape throughout the 1990s. Their 1994 debut All Boro Kings achieved major success on MTV Europe, with the record and its single "No Fronts" reaching a global audience of over 600,000 copies sold. The band has continued performing and in 2023 released Free Radicals, marking their return to the studio after a 17-year gap.
