Finnish metal band Waltari plays Litomyšl on Saturday, 3 October 2026 at 19:00 in MC Kotelna on Kpt. Jaroše street. This is one of two Czech dates on their Nations' Neurosis album tour. MC Kotelna is Litomyšl's only music club, operating since September 1994 in a former boiler house. The 12 × 18 metre hall with 6-metre ceilings is valued for its acoustic quality and hosts over 150 events annually. The venue opens at 18:00, with the concert starting at 19:00. The Atavists open the show.

About the venue: MC Kotelna

MC Kotelna is the only music club in Litomyšl, open since September 1994 in a former boiler room on Kpt. Jaroše street. The hall measures 12 × 18 metres with a 6-metre ceiling and is praised for its good acoustics. The club hosts over 150 events a year, including live concerts across many genres, dance nights, theatre performances, film screenings, stand-up shows, and quizzes.

The Atavists released in March 2026 the EP Hit So Hard - their first EP after three studio albums, recorded in Pardubice, Brussels and on Sumava in collaboration with Belgian producer Gregoire Chardon.

For each of the five tracks of the EP, the band shot a separate music video; the title single Hit So Hard is accompanied by a video inspired by the aesthetics of black metal forest videos.

In parallel with the EP, The Atavists are working on their fourth full-length album in a new lineup with drummer Marty Spruce; the foundations were created in 2025 in the Sono studio and the release is planned for autumn 2026.
