Body Count is an American crossover thrash band blending heavy metal and hardcore rap, founded in 1990 by rapper Ice-T and guitarist Ernie C. The group caused major controversy with the track "Cop Killer" from their 1992 debut album. Their later album Bloodlust (2017) earned them a Grammy Award.
