Legendary British rock band The Sweet, who have sold over 30 million albums, return to the Czech Republic with their greatest hits including "Ballroom Blitz" and "Love Is Like Oxygen".
The Sweet are a British rock band who rose to prominence in the 1970s as one of the defining acts of the glam rock era. Their classic line-up - vocalist Brian Connolly, bassist Steve Priest, guitarist Andy Scott and drummer Mick Tucker - scored thirteen UK Top 20 hits, with Block Buster! reaching number one in 1973. The band has sold over 55 million records worldwide and earned 34 number-one chart positions globally. Founding guitarist Andy Scott remains the sole continuous member, still leading the band on tour.
Sweet performed at the Stonedead 2025 festival in English Newark on Trent on August 23, 2025.
The band continues The Final Tour Part II 2025 with a series of stops in Germany, Belgium and Great Britain.
