Slade is a British rock band that rose to fame in the 1970s as one of the defining acts of the glam rock era. The band scored 23 singles in the UK Top 20, six of which reached number one, including Cum on Feel the Noize, Coz I Luv You and Merry Xmas Everybody. The group is today led by founding guitarist Dave Hill.
