British rock band The Sweet, which has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, will perform in the Czech Republic in 2026 at just two venues. In Prague, they will play on August 14, 2026 at Divadlo Hybernia, and a day later, on August 15, they will perform under the open sky at the Mikulov Amphitheatre.

The programme will feature a selection of hits including Ballroom Blitz, Fox On The Run, and Love Is Like Oxygen, as well as new songs from their 2024 album Full Circle, which reached number 19 on the Media Control Charts. "From a huge number of offers, we chose Prague and Mikulov specifically. We want to play where there is soul and atmosphere," says Willi Wrede, the band's manager for Central Europe.

The band last performed in the Czech Republic in 2017 in Prague and Brno under the Brnokoncert agency; in 2018 they celebrated 50 years since their formation at Sono Centre in Brno.
