Nazareth are a Scottish hard rock band formed in Dunfermline in 1968. They broke through internationally with the 1975 album Hair of the Dog, featuring the hits "Hair of the Dog" and "Love Hurts". The band has toured and recorded for over fifty years, with Carl Sentance serving as lead vocalist since 2015.
New vocalist Gianni Pontillo made his debut with the band on stage on February 26, 2026.
On December 21, 2025, the band parted ways with vocalist Carlo Sentance and announced his successor Gianni Pontillo.
Nazareth concluded the Bending the Rules 2025 tour with a concert in Berlin on December 17, 2025.
The band released their 25th studio album Surviving the Law (Frontiers Records), which charted in the top 10 of British rock charts.
