British rock band The Sweet, which has sold over 30 million albums, will perform on August 15, 2026 under the open sky at the Mikulov Amphitheatre. The concert is organized by Brnokoncert agency, which brought The Sweet to the Czech Republic in 2017 (Prague, Brno) and in 2018 to Brno's Sono Centre.
The Sweet will bring a selection of hits such as Ballroom Blitz, Fox On The Run, and Love Is Like Oxygen, as well as new songs from the album Full Circle, which ranked 19th on the Media Control Charts in 2024.
The opening act will be the Prague band Precedens, which has been active on the Czech music scene since the 1980s and recorded several albums with Bára Basikov. Recently they released the album Odstíny černé. Precedens will perform in the lineup: Martin Němec, Daniela Langrová (known among other things from the Rock Opera Praha project), Karel Vošta, Pavel Nedoma, Zdeněk Imramovský, and Tomáš Kašpar.
