Soňa Červená (1925–2023) was a Czech opera singer — mezzo-soprano and contralto. The daughter of cabaret founder Jiří Červený, she performed for 75 seasons on five continents, including Bayreuth and Milan's La Scala, accumulating over 5,500 appearances in opera, theatre, musicals and film. Her signature role was Carmen.
