About

Dan Bárta (born 14 December 1969 in Karlovy Vary) is a Czech singer, lyricist and multi-instrumentalist working across jazz, soul and pop. He rose to prominence in the 1990s with the band Alice and the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, and in 2000 launched his own project Illustratosphere, with which he has released five studio albums. An eleven-time Anděl Award winner, he has also collaborated with Bobby McFerrin and Dominic Miller.
