Bratři Ebenové (The Eben Brothers) are a Czech folk group formed by brothers Marek, Kryštof and David Eben - sons of composer Petr Eben - alongside musicians Pavel Skála, Jiří Zelenka and Jaromír Honzák. The band debuted with Malé písně do tmy in 1984 and has since become one of the most distinctive acts on the Czech folk scene, blending folk, jazz and rock with unconventional instruments and Marek Eben's literary lyrics. They won the Anděl award in the Folk category in 2014 for Čas holin; their sixth studio album Co my víme (2023) earned them another Anděl nomination.
The band had to postpone concerts in Ceske Budejovice and Mlada Boleslav due to sudden illness in the lineup; the replacement date in Ceske Budejovice was set for May 28, 2026.
The album Co my víme (2023) was nominated for the Anděl award in the Folk category; the ceremony took place on March 30, 2024 at the Prague O2 universum.
The Eben brothers released their sixth studio album Co my víme on September 1, 2023 with 13 tracks; the mix was done by British sound engineer Phill Brown.
For the album Čas holin (2014), the band received a platinum record for 10,000 sold copies and the Anděl award in the Folk country category for 2014.
