OKNO: Smrtislav
Smrtislav delivers a dark acoustic concert blending dark folk and industrial aesthetics, with Czech lyrics exploring solitude and existential themes.
Smrtislav is a Czech music project by Pavel Litvaj, known by his alias Tuzex Christ - a singer, guitarist and producer also recognized as a member of the EBM act Vanessa. Founded in 2014 as a four-piece rock band, it gradually shifted toward a more intimate acoustic format built around loops and processed vocals. The Czech-language lyrics, steeped in melancholy and dark humor, sit at the crossroads of dark folk, gothic rock and industrial aesthetics. The debut album Notorickej samotář (2016) was crowdfunded via HitHit, raising over 100,000 CZK.
