OKNO: Smrtislav

Another evening in collaboration between clubs Fléda and Fraktal + bar Spektrum - this time on a courtyard terrace. The performer plays indoors while the audience sits outside.

Smrtislav blends acoustic guitar, loops, and effects-laden vocals into a dark, raw concert at the intersection of dark folk, gothic, lo-fi, and industrial aesthetics. Czech lyrics full of melancholy, irony, and dark humor avoid cheap optimism - they speak of solitude, anxiety, and searching for one's place in the world.

Behind the project stands musician and producer Tuzex, guitarist of the EBM band Vanessa, formerly active in the bands Sunshine and The Prostitutes. Smrtislav began as a rock band and gradually transformed into a more intimate acoustic form.
