Spirituál Kvartet - Christmas Concert

Spirituál Kvartet is a group that directly continues the legacy of the legendary Czechoslovak folk band Spirituál Kvintet. The continuity with this ensemble, which significantly influenced the domestic music scene for more than sixty years, is guaranteed not only by a return to the original historical name, but above all by the participation of Jiří Holoubek and Veronika Součková, long-time members of Spirituál Kvintet. They have joined forces with two other outstanding musicians: Zbyněk Bureš, a singer, composer, banjo player, steel guitar and double bass player, and Jan Janda, a guitarist, singer, and owner of a captivating bass sound. Spirituál Kvartet builds on the legacy of its predecessors with humility, respect and gratitude, while naturally developing it further with its own sound and interpretation - both of time-tested compositions and new original repertoire.
