Savatage is an American heavy metal band formed in Florida in 1978 by brothers Jon and Criss Oliva. Known for their progressive and power metal sound with symphonic elements, they are celebrated for concept albums such as Streets: A Rock Opera. Their music directly inspired the creation of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
