About

Pretty Maids are a Danish hard rock and heavy metal band from Horsens, founded in 1981 by guitarist Ken Hammer and soon joined by vocalist Ronnie Atkins. Over four decades they released sixteen studio albums and built a loyal following across Scandinavia, Germany, Japan and Spain. The band was forced into hiatus in late 2019 after Atkins was diagnosed with stage-four cancer, but returned to live performance in the summer of 2024.
