Manowar
Legendary American heavy metal band Manowar takes the stage in Ostrava.
Manowar is an American heavy metal band formed in 1980 in Auburn, New York, built around founding bassist Joey DeMaio and vocalist Eric Adams, who remain its core to this day. Over four decades the band has cultivated a fierce cult following, particularly across Europe, with epic anthems rooted in mythology, warfare and brotherhood. In 1984 they entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the loudest band on earth - a record they have since broken twice - and in 2008 they set the record for the longest heavy metal concert, playing five hours and one minute in Kavarna, Bulgaria.
Manowar announced the Kings of Metal Fighting the World Tour 2027, on which they will alternately perform the complete albums Kings of Metal and Fighting the World.
The 2027 tour includes a stop in Brno (January 16, 2027, Winning Group Arena), where the band will perform the complete album Kings of Metal.
Manowar completed an extensive European tour The Blood of Our Enemies Tour 2025, on which they performed the complete albums Hail to England and Sign of the Hammer.
Manowar returned to American stages after ten years - on November 30, 2024, they performed an exclusive show at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn.
The band announced that in 2024 they will re-record the album Sign of the Hammer under the title Sign of the Hammer 2024 and at the same time are preparing a completely new studio album.
