Judas Priest are a British heavy metal band from Birmingham, active since 1969. Albums like British Steel (1980) and Screaming for Vengeance (1982) helped define the genre's sound and visual identity for decades. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, and their 2024 album Invincible Shield made them the first heavy metal act to release studio albums fifty years apart.
