Roman Horký (born 3 March 1964, Brno) is a Moravian guitarist, singer and songwriter who founded the folk band Kamelot in Brno in 1982 - now one of the longest-running acts in its genre in the Czech Republic. As the sole original member, he has written virtually all the music and lyrics: over three hundred songs and more than twenty albums, with total sales exceeding half a million copies. The debut album Zachraňte koně (1990) went multi-platinum and its title track was named folk and country song of the decade; Folk & Country magazine voted Kamelot band of the year seven times running. Horký holds honorary citizenship of the city of Brno.
