Petr Popelka is a Czech conductor who served as chief conductor of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and became chief conductor of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra from the 2023/24 season. He previously held the same position with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. He is one of the most prominent Czech conductors of his generation.
