Semyon Bychkov

About

Semyon Bychkov is a Russian-American conductor who has served as chief conductor and music director of the Czech Philharmonic since 2018. He trained in Leningrad and built his career across the US and Europe, leading the Orchestre de Paris and the WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln among others. His repertoire centres on German and Russian symphonic music.
