American indie-rock musician Kurt Vile performs with his band The Violators at Prague's Archa venue.
Kurt Vile & The Violators are the live and studio vehicle of Philadelphia indie-rock musician Kurt Vile (born 1980), formerly lead guitarist of The War on Drugs and author of a string of critically acclaimed solo records. The band - currently Jesse Trbovich (guitar, saxophone), Kyle Spence (drums) and Adam Langellotti (bass, keyboards) - has backed Vile since the 2009 album Childish Prodigy, and is central to his unhurried, psychedelic-tinged sound. In May 2026 they released his tenth studio album, Philadelphia's been good to me, and set out on an extensive world tour.
