Oranssi Pazuzu are a Finnish psychedelic black metal band from Tampere, active since 2007. Their music fuses black metal with krautrock, space rock and industrial electronics into a genre they have largely invented themselves. Their sixth album Muuntautuja (2024, Nuclear Blast) drew widespread critical acclaim, cementing their reputation as one of the most singular forces in extreme metal today.
The band has planned a European tour for October 2026, including a stop in Prague (Futurum, October 19) and other cities in Poland, Germany, Belgium, and France.
Oranssi Pazuzu completed a North American tour in May 2026 - their first time on the continent in seven years - with stops at the Northwest Terror Fest and Maryland Deathfest festivals.
In February 2025, they performed four club concerts in Finland in support of the album Muuntautuja, with Dome Runner as the opening act.
On October 11, 2024, they released their sixth studio album Muuntautuja (Shapeshifter) on Nuclear Blast Records, which critics called their darkest and most daring work.
