Liturgy is an American avant-garde metal band from New York, led by vocalist and guitarist Hunter Hunt-Hendrix. The group is known for its experimental take on black metal, which Hunt-Hendrix has termed "transcendental black metal". Notable releases include Aesthethica (2011) and H.A.Q.Q. (2019).
