She trained at the Brno Conservatory and went on to study musical theatre at JAMU, graduating with the role of Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha. After positions at theatres in Pardubice and Brno, she joined the Drama Ensemble of the National Theatre in Prague in 2016 - serving as stage manager from the 2022/23 season while also appearing as a guest actress, including at the Estates Theatre in Much Ado About Nothing. Since the 2022/23 season, Lucie Brychtová has worked at the National Theatre as a prompter, while simultaneously performing as an actress at the Estates Theatre in the production of Much Ado About Nothing, where she sings over ten songs.
In an interview for Novinky.cz, Brychtová openly described her journey through transition back to the stage and noted that after years in the prompter's box, she is finally gaining acting experience as a woman.
In November 2021, the psychological monodrama Frequency of Trust, which Brychtová wrote with Martin Hýbner and in which she also acts and sings, premiered at the Na Prádle Theatre; the voices of the characters were provided by Iva Janžurová, Vilma Cibulková and others.
Director Daniela Špinar cast Brychtová as a singer in the production of Much Ado About Nothing at the Estates Theatre, where she received applause on the open stage.
