Jaroslav Hutka (born 21 April 1947 in Olomouc) is a Czech folk singer-songwriter, composer and visual artist whose protest songs Náměšť and Havlíčku, Havle became anthems of resistance during the communist normalisation era. A signatory of Charter 77, he was forced into exile in the Netherlands in 1978 under the StB operation Asanace; on 26 November 1989 he was the first artist to return from exile and sang that same day at the mass rally on Letná Plain. He now self-releases recordings under his own Samopal label and continues to tour.
Hutka performed at the Concert for the Future on Wenceslas Square in Prague for the 36th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, where he sang new songs criticizing Vladimir Putin as well as older hits by Havlicek, Havel, and Namesti.
In November 2025, Hutka performed at a Vienna concert organized by the Czech Center, where in addition to Czech he also sang in German.
In February 2025, Hutka's concert took place in Prague 6, where traditional Moravian ballads and completely new songs were performed.
As part of a tour for the 35th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, Hutka held a series of concerts and meetings throughout the Czech Republic, including in Hradec Králové and Vyšší Brod.
In June 2024, Hutka performed as a guest at the Egon Bondy Tour in Doksy, where he opened the evening with the bands PPU and Svatopluk.
