František Ringo Čech is a Czech actor, writer, playwright, and musician, best known as a member of the folk group Rangers (Plavci) and as the author of popular stage comedies. His play Dívčí válka, written in the 1980s as a humorous retelling of an old Czech legend, became one of the most frequently performed Czech theatrical works.
