Divadlo Járy Cimrmana is a Czech theatre company founded in 1967, built around the fictional genius Jára Cimrman. Each performance combines an absurdist "seminar" on Cimrman's life with a full comedy play. The company was co-created by Zdeněk Svěrák and Ladislav Smoljak and is based in the Žižkov district of Prague, enjoying enduring popularity across Czech audiences.
