Děda Mládek Illegal Band is a country-rock band from Plzeň, founded in spring 1998 originally without the knowledge of Ivan Mládek - whose songs they covered in their own arrangements, hence the word "Illegal" in the name. Mládek eventually gave the band his blessing, and they went on to become one of the most active live acts on the Czech festival circuit. Their 2001 debut album sold over 70,000 copies.
The band performed on November 15, 2024 at the Plzen club Bílej Medvěd at a double concert together with the band Zakázaný sen.
In October 2024, the band performed at the 42nd edition of Vavřineckého potoka in Mlýně Davídkov.
In April 2023, the band celebrated 25 years of existence with an anniversary concert.
On July 1, 2025, the band is invited to the Festival Loutkářská Chrudim, where it will perform a summer concert at Letním kině.
