František Panáček is a Czech pianist from Ostrava, a graduate of the Janáček Conservatory and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava, where he studied under Mgr. Marta Toaderová. Alongside solo and chamber work, he collaborates with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre, and teaches at the Janáček Conservatory. He is widely known from touring candlelight concerts featuring film music by Hans Zimmer, Ludovic Einaudi and John Williams.
In September 2025, Panáček participated in a European tour of candlelit concerts featuring the music of Harry Potter (John Williams) as an alternating pianist.
In November 2024, Panáček performed a solo candlelit concert in Kolín dedicated to the film music of Ludovico Einaudi on a C. Bechstein grand piano.
Panáček works as a rehearsal pianist for the music-drama department and as a teacher of mandatory piano at the Leoš Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava.
