Kino Mže is part of the Mže cultural complex in Tachov, built in 1982-1984 on the northern edge of the castle park - originally as the seat of the district committee of the Communist Party. After 1989 it was gradually repurposed for cultural use, and a thorough reconstruction followed in 2021-2023. The cinema hall seats 259 (including 6 wheelchair spaces) and is fitted with digital projection, quality sound equipment, and a hearing loop. Film screenings share the space with theatre performances, concerts, and lectures; the Bio Senior programme offers daytime screenings at reduced admission.
