A piano concert featuring music from all Harry Potter films, performed by candlelight. The programme includes compositions by John Williams (five-time Oscar winner), Patrick Doyle, Nicolas Hooper, and Alexandre Desplat (Oscar winner), arranged for solo piano.

The principal performer is Czech pianist Lucie Kubátová; during the European tour she is alternated with František Panáček and Alexandr Starý.

The event is accessible from age 12. Tickets must be purchased exclusively through the smsticket network - each participant must present a valid ticket.

About the venue: Sukova Hall of the House of Music

Sukova síň is the main concert hall of the Dům hudby (House of Music) in Pardubice, with a capacity of 470 seats. The building dates from the 1980s, originally designed by Jan Třeštík as the regional Communist Party headquarters; after 1989 it was handed over to musical institutions. The hall sits below ground level and is reached through an open atrium. Both the Pardubice Conservatory and the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic are based here, with the philharmonic running regular concert series in the hall.

About: Lucie Kubátová

Brno-based pianist Lucie Kubátová brings together classical training from JAMU and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with hands-on experience as a ballet répétiteur and teacher. Her candlelit piano evenings feature film music ranging from John Williams to Ludovico Einaudi.
