The concert Harry Potter Music by Candlelight takes place on Monday, 2 November 2026 at the Národní dům in Frýdek-Místek. Pianist Lucie Kubátová performs music from all eight Harry Potter films - works by John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicolas Hooper and Alexander Desplat arranged for solo piano. The concert is lit by hundreds of candles, creating an intimate setting in the Art Nouveau building at the city centre. This performance is part of a European tour during which Kubátová visits nine Czech cities. The event is suitable for ages 12 and up.

About the venue: National House

Národní dům (National House) in Frýdek-Místek is an Art Nouveau cultural venue in the city centre, built between 1896 and 1899 thanks to the Matice místecká civic association. It features a main and a secondary hall with stucco decoration, a garden with a stage, and additional rooms. The venue hosts theatre performances, concerts, film premieres, exhibitions, balls, and educational courses. Since 1992 it has been owned by the city and is operated by the Kultura F-M organisation.

Brno-based pianist Lucie Kubátová brings together classical training from JAMU and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with hands-on experience as a ballet répétiteur and teacher. Her candlelit piano evenings feature film music ranging from John Williams to Ludovico Einaudi.
