Hans Zimmer Film Music by Candlelight

A candlelit piano concert of Hans Zimmer's film music takes place on 8 October 2026 at the Municipal Theatre in Žatec. Pianist Miroslav Beinhauer performs compositions from acclaimed films - Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Lion King. The concert is part of his European tour, which includes nine Czech cities. The Municipal Theatre in Žatec ranks among the oldest stone theatres in Bohemia - its cornerstone was laid in 1848, and the late-classical building opened a year before Prague's National Theatre. Since 1958 it has been registered as a cultural monument. The event is suitable for ages 12 and above.
