About

Support Lesbiens are a Prague rock band active since 1992, known for singing in English at a time when Czech radio largely refused to play domestic acts that did so. Their single Cliché became the first track by a Czech English-language group to top the official IFPI radio chart. They won two Anděl awards in 2003 for album and group of the year. After frontman Kryštof Michal departed in 2012, the band has continued under founding guitarist Hynek Toman, releasing their 14th album, Sugarfire, in October 2024.
