Bert & Friends is a Czech alternative pop band built around frontman, songwriter and filmmaker Albert Romanutti, who founded the group in Prague in 2016. All members trained at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. The band is known for its psychedelic staging, surreal lyrics and retro-tinged melodies, and has crossed into theatre - appearing in National Theatre productions. They have won the Anděl, Apollo and Žebřík awards, and released their debut full-length album České moře in October 2024.
Bert & Friends launched an extensive České moře Tour 2025 with more than twenty stops across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The band received a nomination for the Ceny Anděl 2025 award in the categories of Band of the Year and Music Video of the Year for the title single České moře.
The debut album České moře was presented on November 23, 2024 at the Prague Forum Karlín - the band's largest independent concert to date.
In October 2024, the band performed at the Seoul Forest Jazz Festival in South Korea and at the Yokohama Jazz Promenade in Japan.
In October 2024, the band's first full-length album České moře was released, on which Albert Romanutti worked for three years.
