About

Bert & Friends is a Czech alternative pop band built around frontman, songwriter and filmmaker Albert Romanutti, who founded the group in Prague in 2016. All members trained at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. The band is known for its psychedelic staging, surreal lyrics and retro-tinged melodies, and has crossed into theatre - appearing in National Theatre productions. They have won the Anděl, Apollo and Žebřík awards, and released their debut full-length album České moře in October 2024.
