Tábor Wine Festival 2026
Táborský festival vína z.s., Tábor
The Tábor Wine and Gastronomy Festival is the longest wine festival in Central Europe, held annually in the historic centre of the South Bohemian town of Tábor since 2009. The 18th edition runs from 20 February to 21 June 2026 and features over 55 events across various venues in the city — restaurants, cafés, wine shops, historic cellars, and natural sites. Visitors can enjoy tastings and guided wine samplings from more than 80 winemakers from Bohemia, Moravia, and abroad, gala dinners with wine and food pairings, walks through medieval Tábor cellars, and wine trails in the surrounding countryside. The cultural programme includes theatre performances (Divadlo Járy Cimrmana, Jaroslav Dušek) and concerts (Tomáš Klus, Bert & Friends). Since its inception, the festival has also had a charitable dimension — proceeds from cultural events support children, seniors, and the sick; the total charitable contribution since 2009 has exceeded 1.5 million CZK. The festival is supported by the Czech Wine Fund as general partner and the city of Tábor as main partner. Tickets for individual events are available on the festival's official website.
