BeatRoot is a Bratislava-based music project led by a sibling duo, bringing together seasoned Slovak musicians in a larger ensemble. The band draws on funk, jazz, rock and gospel, with a sound rooted in the tradition of Earth, Wind & Fire and Tower of Power, updated through the lens of acts like Snarky Puppy and Cory Wong. In their debut year they opened the Bratislava Cultural Summer on Hviezdoslav Square and performed at OravaJazz Festival alongside Grammy winners Gil Goldstein and John Daversa.
BeatRoot won the public vote for Talent Bratislava Jazz Days 2025.
The band released an aftermovie from their performance at the OravaJazz 2024 festival, where they opened the program.
BeatRoot opened the 15th OravaJazz festival in Namestovo, where they shared the stage with Grammy winners Gil Goldstein and John Daversa.
