Dan Bárta & Robert Balzar

Dan Bárta and double bassist Robert Balzar rarely perform in a minimalist duo format. Their concert at Villa Tugendhat takes place as part of JazzFestBrno.

The exact programme remains open — as befits jazz improvisers. The dramaturgy will draw from the shared archive of both artists, which includes the albums Theyories and Jedním dechem recorded with Robert Balzar Trio, as well as jazz, pop and rock standards and original compositions.

The concert will take place at Villa Tugendhat, an icon of functionalism inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
