Sachal Vasandani + Marta Kloučková & David Dorůžka

Marta Kloučková and guitarist David Dorůžka will perform on the Brno stage as a duo while launching their joint album How Little We Dream. Although both musicians have collaborated repeatedly – for instance, as part of the vocalist's quintet – this album marks their debut in an intimate chamber jazz format for two.

The duo's repertoire spans interwar standards, songs by icons Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, and Paul Simon, as well as jazz legends Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter. It also features the psychedelic touch of Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane and the contemporary pop hit Wildflower by Billie Eilish from 2025.

Sachal Vasandani comes to Brno with his current album Best Life Now, produced in collaboration with drummer Nate Smith – a guest at last year's JazzFest Brno. Throughout his career, Vasandani has performed alongside Wynton Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin, Bill Charlap, and Milton Nascimento, and is also a recognized jazz educator.

The concert takes place as part of JazzFest Brno.
