Music Marathon: Pěnička & Znouzectnost & Ctib
A music marathon with three bands - Pěnička, Znouzectnost, and Ctib - at Arnoldova vila in Brno.
Znouzectnost (abbreviated ZNC, colloquially Znouze) is a Czech punk-rock band from Pilsen, active since 1986 - a time when similar music drew direct attention from the secret police. Starting from punk simplicity, they gradually incorporated folk, ballads and melodic rock'n'roll, and are known for sharp, ironic lyrics alongside folk-tinged songs. Since 2008 the band has played as a stable trio: Déma (guitar, vocals), Golda (bass, vocals) and Caine (drums, vocals). With over ten studio albums across more than three decades, they rank among the longest-running acts on the Czech punk scene.
In February 2026, the band performed a concert in Uherské Hradiště together with the band Ctib.
In January 2026, ZNC performed at Music Club Panteon in Konstantinovy Lazne.
In 2025, the band performed at the Mighty Sounds Festival.
The album Beat Simplicitas (2014) was re-released in 2019 as a limited vinyl edition.
