Alois Hába (1893–1973) was a Czech composer and music theorist, a pioneer of microtonal music. He is best known for developing systems of quarter-tone and other microinterval composition, codified in his theoretical work Neue Harmonielehre (1927). His output includes operas, chamber music, and orchestral works employing microtonal scales.
