Jan Dismas Zelenka

About

Jan Dismas Zelenka (1679–1745) was a Czech Baroque composer who spent most of his career at the Dresden court. His output consists largely of sacred music — masses, oratorios, and psalm settings such as the Te Deum. Though overshadowed during his lifetime by Johann Adolf Hasse, his works have attracted growing attention from performers and audiences alike.
