About the venue

The Municipal Museum in Kralupy nad Vltavou was founded in 1926 and presents the history of the town and surrounding region from prehistory to the present day. Permanent exhibitions include archaeological finds from across Bohemia, a Prehistoric Workshop where visitors can try hands-on activities, and the only permanent memorial hall in the Czech Republic dedicated to poet Jaroslav Seifert, the sole Czech Nobel Prize laureate in Literature. The museum hosts exhibitions, lectures and concerts throughout the year.
