A commemoration of an exceptional event in Czech history. The Municipal Museum is dedicating itself this year not only to local and regional topics that shaped Kralupy and its surroundings, but also to significant anniversaries and events of national importance.

About the venue: Municipal Museum in Kralupy

The Municipal Museum in Kralupy nad Vltavou was founded in 1926 and presents the history of the town and surrounding region from prehistory to the present day. Permanent exhibitions include archaeological finds from across Bohemia, a Prehistoric Workshop where visitors can try hands-on activities, and the only permanent memorial hall in the Czech Republic dedicated to poet Jaroslav Seifert, the sole Czech Nobel Prize laureate in Literature. The museum hosts exhibitions, lectures and concerts throughout the year.
